Andrew Aitch (born Andrzej Lucjan Haladuda) is an American photographer primarily interested in portraiture and different fine art photography domains ranging from realistic to abstract approaches. Photojournalism and documentary photography were also his fields, as well as teaching photography in various Polish and French art academies. Active since 1976, mainly in Paris and New York City, he is known for various portraits, and for anthropological monographs, the most representative of which is “The Appearances”, a study designed to discover and interpret through photographic images the key values and norms of the French culture and civilization exemplified in Paris.
